English Language Acquisition

The English Language Acquisition component provides instruction to help individuals (of all nationalities) of limited English proficiency achieve competence in the English language - reading, writing and speaking.

Learners study the English language as it relates to daily living in the culture of the United States. Students work at their own level and their own pace with the goal of becoming comfortable in an English-speaking environment. Learners of all levels are welcome. Many study materials are available.

Learners are also earning their GED, transitioning to college and learning skills related to employment. 

Classes are offered on Tuesday and Thursday evening between 6:00PM and 8:00PM on the Ashland Community and Technical College campus at 1400 College Drive.
