Job Description
Marathon Petroleum Company is seeking Warehouse Material Handlers in its Supply Chain department located in St. Paul Park, Minnesota. This is a full-time hourly position earning $22.00/hour with full benefits, including:
- Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(K), Pension and Paid vacation time off. This is a position to permanently replace workers who are currently striking at the St Paul Park Refinery.
Responsibilities include
- Understands workflow processes and SAP warehousing functionality.
- Provides assistance in resolving inventory and material order problems.
- Provides assistance in training on warehouse systems and processes.
- Maintains records in accordance with the company’s records retention policy.
- Identifies areas for process improvements and optimization.
- Establishes and maintains effective methods of communication with Supervisor, co-workers, customer groups and Global Procurement.
- Performs cycle counts, receiving and shipping duties and ensures proper documentation has been completed.
- Identifies inventory discrepancies, receiving discrepancies and damaged material and takes appropriate action.
- Coordinates the monitoring and control of inventory in conjunction with the Material Controller and Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintains and safe and clean workplace.
- Completes training as required, including specialized training specific to job requirements.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
