ACTC Distance Learning
At Ashland Community and Technical College, we recognize that not everyone who wants an education has time to spend in a classroom. That's why we offer a range of distance learning options from ITV courses to fully online classes.
Ashland Community & Technical College has been approved by Kentucky to participate
in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. NC-SARA is
a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education.
In accordance with Kentucky Administrative Regulation 13 KAR 4:010, a non-resident student attending a Kentucky college or university operating through the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) must first exhaust all internal procedures for complaint resolution offered by the college or university before filing a complaint. In addition, the incident giving rise to the complaint must have occurred within two years of filing; also complaints regarding student grades or student conduct violations shall not be considered.
