Job Description
We are expanding our service department at The Boat Center in Chippewa Falls, WI. We are looking to add a marine service technician to our service team to better serve the Chippewa Valley’s marine needs.
Our ideal candidate qualifications
- Degree, certified, or 5 years’ experience in outboard and I/O maintenance/repairs
- Strong ability to troubleshoot engine issues timely and accurately
- Able to communicate effectively with service writers and service manager
- Familiar with Lightspeed EVO
- Work under an incentivized bonus-pay structure
- Able to rig and PDI new boats
- Strong ability to work in a positive, process driven, structured environment
- Desire to continue education and training.
Marine Technician Responsibilities
- Outboard and I/O maintenance and repair
- Troubleshooting and diagnostic
- Parts lookup and documentation
- Make preventative maintenance recommendations
- Boat accessory repair and installation
- Service inspections
