Job Description

ACP Technologies (ACPT) specializes in the development of carbon fibers, carbon foams, and carbon beads through our patented technologies. We are recycling waste from refineries and providing low-cost, carbon-based materials. We are at the forefront of material science. Our products deliver a variety of end use materials at lower cost, and lighter weight.  

We build, operate, and maintain petrochemical pilot plants on various scales. We quantify our products through basic industry tests at various stages of production. The positions are for 40 hours per week with some overtime and some late nights. Flexibility will be required as we alternate between operations and maintenance.

$15-$25 dollars an hour based on experience

Skills Required

Lab Fabricator(s): The ideal candidate is a creative Jack or Jill of all trades. Specifically: basic welding and fabricating, piping, and tubing. Having an understanding electrical application is helpful but not imperative. We expect all employees to learn new skills related to our work and hone their old ones. Basic computer skills are needed, and further training will be provided.  

Lab Technician(s): The ideal candidate should be able to communicate well in a team and learn new skills. The primary role would be recording data and measuring material through established tests. Laboratory or chemistry experience is helpful but not required. Basic computer skills are needed with the ability to be productive in Microsoft Office.
