- Ice Cream Social – Kick off the semester with your SSS family by leveling up your sundae game! Customize
your ‘character’ with sprinkles, syrups, and more!
- Game Plan for College Success – Start your semester with the ultimate strategy guide for success! Learn organization
tips, time management skills, and habits that will help you stay ahead of the game
all year long.
- Spot the Bot – Think you can tell the difference between real and AI-generated content? Put your
skills to the test in this interactive seminar on artificial intelligence, misinformation,
and spotting fakes online.
- Craft for the Cause Event – Help improve your community by joining SSS for some Service-based learning! Gain
new skill points in crafting and create cool items to be donated to local charities.
- Fall Festival – Celebrate the first day of fall with a fun, free, family event. Kiddos can play
games, earn prizes, and even win a cake in the cake walks! There will be creation
stations so that adults and kids alike can help us craft donations for local charities.
- History’s Game Changers – Discover the people and moments that changed the world forever. From groundbreaking
leaders to revolutions, explore how history’s biggest game changers shaped the future
we know today.
- Become a Game Changer Transfer Fair/ Craft for the Cause Event - If you are interested in continuing your education after your ACTC degree, then
join us for a fun four-day event. Representatives from dozens of schools will provide
information on tuition, transfer pathways, and more! There will be creation stations
so that students can help us craft donations for local charities. Lunch will be provided.
- Spooky Charcuterie – Get into the Halloween spirit by creating your own spooky-themed charcuterie board!
Enjoy festive snacks, creative designs, and a fun fall atmosphere with friends.
- Pumpkins, Painting, and pie, Oh My! – Enjoy an afternoon of creativity and sweet treats. Create your own festive pumpkins
with fellow peers.
- Become a Game Changer-Lecture Series/ Craft for the Cause Event – Professionals from many disciplines will be presenting ways to become a Game Changer
in the real world! These lectures will be exciting and engaging. There will be creation
stations so that students can help us craft donations for local charities. Come for
the lectures and crafts. then stay for lunch!
- Super Smash Bros Game Tournament – Get ready to CTRL, ALT, Defeat! Whether you’re a seasoned player or just in it for
fun, come compete, connect, and see who comes out on top.
- Craft for the Claus – Join SSS for a crafting session with a purpose! Help us create beautiful gifts that
will be donated to The Mission’s Christmas shop as well as other charities! Your time
and effort can improve the Christmas of a person in our community.
- Candy around the World – Level up your taste buds on an international adventure! Sample candies and sweet
treats from around the globe while trying to guess where they are from.
- Chess Tournament- It’s time for the chess group participants to show what they have learned by competing
head-to-head! A winner will be crowned!
- A Stars Hollow Thanksgiving – Grab a cup of coffee and step into the cozy world of Gilmore Girls for a Thanksgiving
celebration. Enjoy themed snacks, activities, and all the small-town fall vibes.
- Creative Café; A student Writing Showcase - Come enjoy a free coffee and pastry while supporting student writers. Work from
the SSS Writing Group will be displayed and read. There will be an open mic section,
if time allows, so feel free to bring your own writing to share!
- The Ultimate Gingerbread Showdown – Put your teamwork and creativity to the test in this festive gingerbread house competition!
Gather your team, decorate your masterpiece, and compete for holiday bragging rights.
- Gift Creation Celebration – Christmas can be though! So much to do and so much to buy. Why not DIY? Join SSS
and create Pinterest worthy gifts the people on your list will love. Bath bombs, sugar
scrubs, and tie-dye projects will be available.
