ACTC faculty receive promotions

Ashland Community and Technical College announced several faculty promotions, which took effect July 1.

• Kathy Blair, of Ashland, promoted to associate professor in the Associate Degree Nursing program.
• Brigitte Carroll, of Catlettsburg, promoted to assistant professor in the Practical Nursing program.
• Anne Collins, of Wheelersburg, promoted to assistant professor in the Cosmetology program.
• James Coy Hall, of Huntington, promoted to associate professor of history.
• Kayla Meadows, of Hitchins, promoted to assistant professor of chemistry.
• Janet Thompson, of Ashland, promoted to assistant professor in the Medical Information Technology program.
• Mark Smith, of Catlettsburg, promoted to associate professor in the Industrial Maintenance program.
• Thomas Wheeler, of Catlettsburg, promoted to assistant professor in the Welding program.
