Register for summer SRNA classes now!

May 28, 2020

The State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) course at ACTC can help people start on a career in health care. This 75-hour course provides knowledge and skills for nurse aides to assume the role and responsibility required in a long-term care setting. The focus is on communication, infection control, safety, resident/patient rights, and basic nursing skills.

The SRNA course can be a stepping stone to other health care positions, such as a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, or a health care administrator.

Successful completion of this course with a "C" or better will make you eligible to receive the Medicaid Nurse Aide Certificate.

If you complete this course along with Phlebotomy and CPR, you can earn the Certified Medical Technician Certificate.

The summer session begins on June 15 and runs through July 2 with online and simulated clinicals. A second session is available from July 13-July 31 with possible in-person instruction if state-approved. If in-person instruction is not state-approved at that time, instruction will be online.

Tuition for the class is $546 plus $11 liability insurance. Tuition and fees are due before the first day of class.
