ACTC has awarded more than $121,000 in scholarships to graduating high school students for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Students are listed below by scholarship and city of residence.
Agnes Burnette Johnson Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is awarded to a Boyd County High School graduate who demonstrates potential for academic excellence and a need for financial assistance.

Herb & Alene Boggs Alban Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a student demonstrating potential for academic success and an interest in a business career.

Lysbeth Barnett Scholarship Fund
This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student majoring in business management with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

Amy Denise Bruner Memorial Disabled Student Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a student who has demonstrated potential for academic success, including a 3.0 GPA, has a permanent physical disability, is pursuing a degree in a medical field (including counseling and psychology), is focused and has clear education goals and a strong work ethic.

Edward L. Buchanan Endowment Fund
This scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in the nursing program who demonstrate satisfactory academic progress.

Home of Boyd County who demonstrate financial need and potential for academic success.

Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Rodney Clark Memorial Scholarship
Clark’s Pump-N-Shop, Inc. established the Rodney Clark Memorial Scholarship in 2015, to honor the memory of co-owner Rodney Clark. Rodney was a Fairview High School (FHS) graduate that excelled at many of the technical fields offered by ACTC. Rodney’s family designated the scholarship for an FHS graduate who enrolls in a technical program at ACTC.

Allen D. & Patricia C. Cline Scholarship Fund
Awarded to full time students in good standing who are actively involved in ACTC’s Theatre studies. Students who maintain full time status with a 3.0 or better GPA and remain active in the theatre program can be considered for re-award.

This scholarship is awarded to recent high school valedictorians, salutatorians or top 10 percent of graduating class.

This scholarship is awarded to a graduate of Boyd County High School who demonstrates potential for academic success, requires financial assistance and maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0. At least 50 percent of the scholarships granted must be to female recipients.

This scholarship is awarded to deserving children of Boyd County firefighters and police officers. Qualifying parent have been employed full-time by the fire of police department for at least two years.
