Power lineman class begins March 18

Ashland Community and Technical College Workforce Solutions is offering an 11-week
power lineman class beginning March 18. The course includes a Class A CDL certification.
Lineman classes are from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday through May 10 and are located
at the Technology Drive Campus.
There are two options for the CDL training. For those who would like to take
CDL training simultaneously with the lineman program, the driving portion will be
from 4-8 p.m., Monday-Friday, March 18-May 10.
The second option is CDL training from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, May 10-31.
The cost of the lineman program is $6,000 and financial assistance may be available.
After class completion, starting pay ranges from $35,000-$60,000.
