August 6 is ACTC's Fall Application Deadline
If you want to attend Ashland Community an d Technical College this fall, now is the time to get the admissions process out of the way. The application deadline is August 6, and classes start August 13.
Application forms are available on the web at ashland.kctcs.edu and may be submitted online or by mail to the Admissions Office at the College Drive Campus or the Technology Drive Campus.
Applicants will also need to submit an official copy of their high school diploma or GED transcript, transcripts from other colleges or universities attended, and ACT score if available.
Part of the admissions process is an orientation session that includes placement testing. Orientation sessions are scheduled after the applications are processed, and several sessions will be held in July. After orientation, applicants will meet with an advisor and register for class.
Once admitted, students can apply for financial aid. In-state tuition for fall is $140 per credit hour, a lower rate than at other colleges and universities in the area, but many students qualify for the Federal Pell Grant and other forms of aid. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, the only form required for most federal and state aid programs, is online at fafsa.gov and ACTC forms are available at: ashland.kctcs.edu.
