ACTC Offers Engine Rebuild Class
A hands-on High Performance Engine Rebuild Class will be held Saturdays, Jan. 18 to March 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.at ACTCs Roberts Drive Campus, 4818 Roberts Drive in Ashland.
The class will focus on rebuilding a high performance gasoline car or truck engine. Participants will learn to adjust or modify a short block engine, including cylinder heads, valve train, intake manifold and pre-start procedures. Instructor Rick Burnett is ACTC Division Chair for Manufacturing and Transportation, is a diesel technology instructor and drag strip racer who is experienced in modifying engines for high performance.
