Bi-term classes start Oct. 15

Oct. 1 is the application deadline for fall bi-term classes at Ashland Community
and Technical College. Bi-term classes are eight-weeks long, half the length of traditional
semester classes but with the same content as semester-long classes.
Online bi-term classes in general education are: college algebra, introduction
to sociology, introduction to biology, developmental psychology, introduction to art,
history of U.S. through 1865, history of U.S. since 1865, writing I, general psychology
and introduction to interpersonal communication.
In-person classes that will be offered are Kentucky medication aide, phlebotomy
and nursing assistant skills.
Bi-term classes start Oct. 15 and end Dec. 9. New students enrolling only in
the bi-term session may be eligible for financial aid. To apply for financial aid,
complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov. For
