Fall semester classes begin on Aug. 13 and the last day to submit an admission application
is July 30.
The AIT program is a four-semester program with a total of 60 credit hours and

During the first semester, students can expect to take 15 hours of courses including
general education courses, technical core requirements and electives. The semester
plan includes Writing I, Technical Algebra and Trigonometry, Applied Physics, Power
Generation and Utilization and Workplace Safety.
There are also additional general education requirements of history and social
behavioral science. Students must also meet ACTC’s college readiness benchmarks in
reading, writing and math to enter the program specific classes.
Within the AIT program, four-week internship periods will be required.
Those interested in enrolling in the AIT program must first apply to ACTC either
online at Ashland.KCTCS.edu or by visiting either the College Drive or Technology
