Tri-State Job Fair is April 4

Job seekers are invited to the Tri-State Job and Career Fair Friday, April4, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the KYOVA Tri-State Mall.

There are jobs in the area, and this is a chance for people to find out what's available, said Nancy Menshouse, Career amp; Job Placement Coordinator at Ashland Community and Technical College.

To date, more than 25 businesses and organizations have signed up:AEP River Operations, Ashland Group Home, Ashland Police Department, Bill Cole Automall, Calgon Carbon Corp., Clear Channel Media amp; Entertainment, DirecTV, Etech, Goodwill Industries, Guardian Community Living, Heartland of Riverview, Kingsbrook, KY Division of Air Quality, LG&E Energy LLC, Lowe's, Manpower, Marathon Marine Division, McDonald's, Mountain Comprehensive Care, Ramey-Estep Home, Speedway, T.J. Maxx, Transamerica, Troops to Teachers, United Way of Northeast KY, Woodland Oaks and Woodmen of the World.

The free fair is cosponsored by ACTC, Kentucky Career Center, Southwestern Community Action Council, TENCO One-Stop Career Centers and KYOVA Tri-State Mall.
