Social Media and eBay Workshops

Two workshops, Social Media for Small Business and the Basics of Selling on eBay, are offered at the ACTC Technology Drive Campus in early August.

Social Media for Small Business will show small business owners and managers how social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter can grow their businesses and also help them communicate with their customers and suppliers during natural disasters. The free workshop is Monday, Aug. 1, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

The Basics of Selling on eBay is offered Wednesday, Aug. 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a lunch break from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. New and beginning eBay users will learn how to list, ship and receive payments and how to successfully merchandise their products on eBay. The $20 fee includes a workbook.

ACTC Workforce Development and Morehead State Universitys Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in Ashland are cosponsors. Registration is through the SBDC, 606-326-8011.
