Saturday Organic Chemistry Course Offered This Spring

Ashland Community and Technical College is offering a Saturday organic chemistry course and an evening organic chemistry lab this spring to help students fit these courses into their schedules.

Organic Chemistry I (CHE 270) is a three-credit lecture course on the structure and properties of carbon-containing compounds. It will meet on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and General College Chemistry II is a prerequisite.

Organic Chemistry I Lab (CHE 275), a two credit course, will be taught Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:45-9:15 p.m.

Spring registration is January 4 to 11, and new students must complete the applications process before registering. Visiting students can apply on line at: ashland.kctcs.edu and will need a letter of good standing from their home college or university.
