"Romeo and Juliet" Auditions January 29

Romeo and Juliet auditions will be held tonight, Jan. 29, at 7:30 PM in the J. B. Sowards Theatre. This is the last audition session, replacing last night's session that was cancelled due to Ashland's water main break.

Auditions are open only to enrolled students or faculty/staff members at ACTC and Boyd County High School. Technical positions such as stage managers, backstage dressers, stage crew, lighting and sound engineers are open to anyone.

Those auditioning will do cold readings from the script, and no advance preparation is needed. Those interested in technical assignments should attend the audition in order to fill out the required paperwork.

Cast and crew members must sign a liability waiver form and if under 18 a parent or guardian must attend the beginning of the auditions to sign for the student. Parents or guardians with students under 18 should attend the auditions.

Performances will be given March 21 to 23 and March 28 to 30.For details, call the ACTC Theatre office at 606.326.2073.
