Poetry and Lincoln
In Poetry and Lincoln, Philip St. Clair, ACTC professor of English, will read selections from his Lincoln poem, Divided House, published by Finishing Line Press in 2005. He will also talk about the problems he faced and the strategies he employed in writing about this iconic figure.
The free program will be from 12:15 to 1: 00 p.m. in the Learning Resource Center Conference Room at the College Drive Campus. The program is supported by a grant from the Kentucky Humanities Council, Inc. through funds from the Kentucky Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission (kylincoln.org).
