Phlebotomy Course Starts Nov. 29

ACTC will hold a Phlebotomy Course Monday through Thursday, Nov. 29 to February 3, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The course prepares students to collect blood from patients or donors in hospitals, blood banks or clinics for analysis or other purposes. The eight week course includes standard precautions, record keeping, vital signs and therapeutic communication skills. Completers earn six college credits.

Classes meet at the Technology Drive Campus which is located on the Industrial Parkway (KY67) that connects I-64 and US 23. Class will not meet Dec. 23, 27 and 30 due to the holidays.
