Parent-Teacher Conference Focuses on Drop Out Prevention

A free Graduate Kentucky Mini-Conference October 28 at ACTC's Technology Drive Campus will help educators and parents focus on keeping youth in school.

The conference is designed for parents, elementary through university educators, counselors, students, community leaders and professionals who support lowering the high school drop-out rate and promoting college access.

Participants will attend sessions on engaging youth, career counseling, youth suicide prevention, youth psychosocial issues and parenting in the 21st century. The conference also includes dinner and a presentation by Sylvia Lovely, President of Sylvia Lovely amp; Associates.
