ACTC to host Celebration of Arts and Sciences Lecture Series

Ashland Community and Technical College will present a series of lectures throughout the month of November to celebrate the arts and sciences.

The first lecture will be at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1. Dr. Pam Porter, instructor of psychology present “Creating a Joyful and Optimistic Life.”

On Nov. 8 Laura Tussey, associate professor of English and Appalachian Studies, will present “Victorian Advice Books.” On Nov. 15, Dale Queen, author and local historian will present “Clyffeside Park: Gem of Nature.”

All lectures will begin at 4 p.m. in the LRC Teleconference Room on the College Drive Campus. The lectures are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
