Free ACTC Programs Celebrate Black History Month
Ashland Community and Technical College and the Highlands Museum amp; Discovery Center will commemorate February as Black History Month with free programs open to the public.
The Tuskegee Airmen will be presented twice on Tuesday, Feb. 10: at noon in the J. B. Sowards Theatre at the ACTC College Drive Campus and at 6:00 p.m. in the Highlands Museum and Discovery Center in downtown Ashland.
Gospel Night will be held Thursday, Feb.19, at 7:00 p.m. at the Highlands Museum amp; Discovery Center. African American churches throughout the Tri-State will sing the songs that have inspired generations of Americans.
A Night at the Apollo will be held Friday, Feb. 27, at 7:00 p.m. in ACTCs J. B. Sowards Theatre at the College Drive Campus.
