Fiddler Tara Sansom Performs December 13

Tara Samson will perform Thursday, Dec. 13, at 11:00 a.m. at the Technology Drive Campus. A five time Pennsylvania State Fiddling Champion, she will demonstrate different styles of Celtic, Bluegrass and Old Time fiddle playing.

She has performed throughout the U.S., Ireland, Scotland and Canada. She will start teaching Kindermusic at the Paramount Arts Center in January. Her free performance is supported by the Paramount as part of the Smithsonian New Harmonies Roots of American Music Exhibit at ACTC.

The New Harmonies Exhibit is a Music on Main Street collaboration between the Smithsonian Institute and the Kentucky Humanities Council, with support from the KY Transportation Cabinet and ACTC.
