CPE President Bob King Will Visit ACTC April 18
Bob King, President of the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education, will visit AshlandCommunity and Technical College Monday, April 18. Student, faculty and staff and area residents are invited to hear his presentations from 10:15 to11:15 a.m. at the Technology Drive Campus Rocky Adkins Pavilion and from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the College Drive Campus J.B. Sowards Theatre.
King will discuss Stronger by Degrees, A Strategic Agenda for Kentucky Postsecondary and Adult Education. The agenda builds on a decade of success and intensifies the focus on four urgent policy areas: college readiness; student success; research, economic and community development; and efficiency and innovation.
The agenda will guide public policy priorities outlined in the Kentucky Postsecondary Education Improvement Act of 1997 (House Bill 1).
On Monday, King will also tour the Technology Drive and Roberts Drive Campuses.
