Business Training Program Is August 26

Doing Business the Right Way, a training program for area businesses, will be held August 26 at Ashland Community and Technical College. The one day program will present a bundle of six sessions on business practices that can improve the bottom line.

Referral Success 101 will focus on building your business through referrals and word of mouth.

Quickbooks for Business will highlight program functions that can track income and expenses, maintain customer employee and vendor files, pay employees, balance bank statements and produce reports.

Business Killers will list some of the most common mistakes made by growing and established businesses and what can be done to avoid them.

Confident Communication: Its Not Just What You Say will show how non-verbal messages sent through body language and facial expression can negate your words. This presentation will help improve customer service.

How Can Lean Work for Me will explore some of the ways that lean business practices can eliminate waste, maximize employee productivity and increase customer satisfaction in businesses of all sizes.

5 Ways to Massive Profits will present some of the opportunities available in most workplace settings for reducing expenses and building sales.

The one-day program with six training sessions and lunch is $49.95, and business can send two employees for $75. Individual sessions are $20 each.
