Black History Month Gospel Night is February 16
Gospel Night will be held Thursday, Feb. 16, at 7:00 p.m. at the Highlands Museum and Discovery Center in downtown Ashland.
The sound and spirit of gospel music has become a profound force in American culture, and Gospel Night is a way for those voices from the past to be heard and passed on to the future. The tentative lineup of Gospel Night choirs includes the Antioch Male Chorus from Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Huntington, Christ Temple Choir from Ashland and Kings Way Church from Ashland.
The free program and reception are open to the public. Gospel Night is a community Black History Month program cosponsored by ACTC and area organizations and residents. For more information, contact the Museum, 606-329-8888.
