ACTC Theatre Presents Copacabana, The Musical

Ashland Community and Technical College Theatre will present the Copacabana, The Musical Fridays and Saturdays, April 8, 9, 16, and 17 at 8:00 p.m., and Sundays, April 10 and 18, at 2:30 p.m.

The musical by Barry Manilow is a tribute to the Technicolor musicals of the 1940s. The story of Copacabana dancer Lola, bartender/composer Tony and night club owner Rico features memorable songs, dance routines and show stopping costumes.

Edward Figgins, ACTC Director of Theatre and Associate Professor, is the Director and Scenic/Lighting Designer. Kathy Saltsman is the vocal music director. Eric Akers is the orchestra conductor. Paula Krepsik is the costume designer. ACTC Emeritus Professor Max Jackson is the accompanist.

Performances are the J. B. Sowards Theatre at the College Drive Campus.

Tickets are $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students, seniors and groups of 10 or more. Tickets may be reserved with a major credit card through the college bookstore, 606-326-2014. Unreserved tickets may be purchased at the door, on a cash basis only, before each performance.
