ACTC Student Art Exhibit May 3
ACTC art students will display their works Friday, May 3, in a clothes line exhibit in Judd Plaza in downtown Ashland from 4:00 p.m. until dark.
The seventh annual Student Art Show features drawings by students enrolled in fall and spring classes taught by Wendy Fosterwelsh, ACTC Assistant Professor of Art. Works include still life, portrait, figurative and conceptual drawings in pen, pencil and colored pencil.
Exhibiting students are Tessa Coyler, Samantha Leach, Thomas J. Mansfield, Shandi B. Meeks, Heather N. Miller, Kelli J. Miller and Michael R. Smith, all from Ashland; Selena M. Bryan from Louisa, Demi S. Eicher from South Point, OH, Kimberly D. Horn from Inez, Hannah Jackson from Catlettsburg and Miranda C. Offill from Olive Hill.
In case of rain, the student exhibit will be in the Pendleton Arts Center. The exhibit is held in conjunction with Ashlands First Friday Art Walk that features works by area artists and gallery exhibits.
