ACTC Plans Golf Scramble for Scholarships

Ashland Community and Technical College will hold its first annual Golf Scramble for student scholarships on Monday, Oct. 13, at the Bellefonte Country Club.

We know that scholarships make a tremendous difference in students lives, and we want to build our endowment funds for the future, said Dr. Kay Adkins, ACTC president and CEO.

To date, the Scramble has two corporate sponsors, American Electric Power and Eagle Distributing, 19 teams and 34 hole sponsors. The scramble will start at 9:00 a.m., and the single registration fee of $125 includes lunch, cart and green fees.

There is still time to organize a team or become a sponsor. Proceeds from the event will benefit the scholarship fund administered by the Community and Technical College Foundation of Ashland, Inc.
