ACTC Offers Short-term Computer Classes Online

Online classes from ACTC Workforce Solutions offer the opportunity to build computer skills while working in the comfort of your own home. Intro to Microsoft Excel 2010

Intro to Excel includes dozens of shortcuts and tricks for setting up fully formatted worksheets quickly and efficiently. This in-depth class provides training and support from an experienced instructor as participants learn Excel basics step-by-step.

Excel participants will also learn to write powerful mathematical formulas and use the function wizard to quickly and automatically calculate statistics, loan payments, future value and other numbers.

Intro to Microsoft PowerPoint

Intro to PowerPoint will focus on skills to create professional quality slide presentations that hold the audiences attention from start to finish. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced user, the class will teach you how to turn simple slides into a polished and exciting presentation.

Powerpoint participants will also learn to create a PowerPoint photo album with digital pictures, work with PowerPoint Web App, an online version of PowerPoint, and save presentations as PDF files and videos.

QuickBooks 2012

Quickbooks is designed for small to midsized businesses that want to incorporate powerful, effective software with a traditional approach to accounting.

Quickbooks participants will learn to pay bills, invoice customers, create receipts, reconcile a checking account, track accounts payable and receivable, manage assets, control inventory and generate estimates and reports. QuickBooks can also help with tax preparation.
