ACTC Offers Retirement Planning Program

A free program on Planning for Disability and End of Life will be held at ACTC Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 4 to 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

June 4 topics are guardianships amp; conservatorships, the probate process with or without a will, and crisis planning for Medicaid and VA benefits.

June 6 topics are care options during disability, including in-home care, assisted living and nursing home care; funeral planning, life insurance and long term care insurance.

June 11 topics are powers of attorney, health care documents, wills and revocable and irrevocable trusts.

June 13 topics are special needs trusts, charitable remainder trusts, and pre planning for VA and Medicaid.

The presenters at this and other retirement planning programsat ACTC this spring are financial planning, investment and legal experts who have a total of 250 years of experience in helping people prepare for the future.

The time to begin planning for retirement and disposition of your assets is now, said Frank Salisbury, ACTC Director of Advancement.

Sponsored by ACTC and the ACTC Foundation, the free sessions will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Learning Resource Center Teleconference Room at ACTCs College Drive Campus. Space is limited on a first-come basis.
