ACTC Offers July Photography Classes

ACTC is offering July classes for beginning to advanced photographers. Instructor Jennifer J. Bird Cremeans is an area artist and photographer with extensive teaching experience. Pre-registration is required through ACTC Lifelong Learning, 606-326-2072 or email: as_LLL@kctcs.edu.

Beginning Photography is offered Wednesdays, July 13 to August 17, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Participants will need a 35mm or digital camera. The fee is $65.

Advanced Photography will be held Tuesdays, July 12 to Aug. 16, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Participants will work with live models and props. The fee is $75.

Become a Professional Photographer in a day-long workshop on Saturday, July 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participants will learn to select locations, post their clients, price their work and edit their pictures in Adobe Photoshop. A digital SLR camera capable of shooting in RAW format is required. The fee is $45.

Photoshop for Beginners will meet Mondays, July 11 to Aug. 15, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Participants will learn techniques to use for photo enhancement, graphic design, photo restoration and digital scrapbooking. The fee is $75.
