ACTC Offers January Microsoft Classes

Ashland Community and Technical College is offering two January classes to help people master the 2010 versions of Microsoft Word and Excel. Classes will be taught by Beka May, a retired ACTC Computer Professor. Both classes will meet from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. each day at the Roberts Drive Campus, and each class is $75.

The Word class will be held Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 28 and 29. The hands-on class will cover the basic word processing skills needed to produce reports, tables, letters, flyers and other office documents.

The Excel class will be held Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 30 and 31. Participants will learn dozens of shortcuts and tricks for setting up fully formatted worksheets quickly and efficiently.
