ACTC Offers Fiction Writers Workshop

Writers of all fiction types and genres, from short story to novel, are invited to improve their craft in an eight-hour workshop at Ashland Community and Technical College that will provide feedback on their creative works.

The Fiction Writers Workshop will be held Thursdays, May 5 to 26, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Topics include strategies on developing in-depth characters, building scenes, plotting critical story points and writing key scenes. Participants will bring their own writings to share with the class.

The workshop is held at the College Drive Campus. The fee is $39, and enrollment is through ACTC Lifelong Learning, 606-326-2072 or email: as_LLL@kctcs.edu.
