ACTC Offers Evening Classes for Fall

Ashland Community and Technical College is giving busy adults an evening class schedule that can be an alternative to online classes.

Evening classes provide the campus experience to working adults who seek skills and credentials for new or better jobs. Most ACTC evening classes meet just one evening a week, giving students an entire week to complete assignments and study for the next class session.

This falls evening schedule includes some of the general education courses required for every associate degree as well as the biological science classes sought by students seeking to enter a health care field.

General education courses at the College Drive Campus are Basic Public Speaking, Intro to interpersonal Communication, Intro to Sociology, History of US through 1865 and Writing I. Biology classes at College Drive are Intro to Biology, Human Ecology, Human Anatomy amp; Physiology I and Medical Terminology from Greek amp; Latin. Also offered at College Drive are Entrepreneurship, Computational Thinking, College Algebra and Intermediate Algebra.

General Psychology, Digital Literacy, and Organic Chemistry Lab are offered at the Technology Drive Campus, along with Welding and Carpentry classes.

A complete list of fall courses is on the web at: ashland kctcs.edu. August 3 is the fall application deadline.
