ACTC Helps Promote Student Safety

This semester, ACTC is using an Everfi training program to help students stay safe on campus.

Last march, Campus Sexual Violence Elimination (SaVE) Act was signed into law by President Obama. The SaVE Act requires the colleges and universities to provide primary and ongoing sexual assault awareness and prevention training to all students and employees.

In compliance with this requirement, ACTC and the other KCTCS colleges are offering the online sexual assault prevention and awareness training program called Everfi Haven. Students can log onto the free course at their convenience and learn about ways to enhance their own safety and the safety of others.
