This spring semester, Ashland Community and Technical College is offering Materials Science (MSE 201), a three-credit University of Kentucky course on the microscopic and macroscopic structure of materials and their engineering applications. The course meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., and is recommended for pre-engineering students. General Chemistry I and Calculus I are prerequisites and Calculus II is a co-requisite.
Spring registration is January 4 to 11, and new students must complete the applications process before registering. Visiting students can apply on line at: ashland.kctcs.edu and will need a letter of good standing from their home college or university.
