
ACTC 12-week session begins Sept. 14

Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) is offering 12-week online and in-person
classes this fall to give new and continuing students additional options for earning
college credit.
The session starts Sept. 14 and will end Dec. 13.
The 12-week classes have the same content as semester-long classes but cover the content
in less time.
Classes offered include Intro to Sociology, Transfer Planning, Introduction to the
Old Testament, Intro to Comparative Religion, American Government, Intro to Info Systems,
Word Processing Applications, Contemporary College Math, Coreq for Contemporary College
Math, Theories & Tech in Human Services, First Year Experience and Applications, English
Workshop, Writing I, Writing II, Contemporary Economic Issues, Digital Literacy, Intro
to Interpersonal Communication, Introduction to Computers, Amazon Web Services Practitioner,
Introductory General Chemistry, Intro General Chemistry Lab, Introduction to Biology,
Intro to Biology Lab, Human Anatomy & Physiology I with Lab, Human Anatomy and Physiology
II, and Medical Terminology.
New students must complete the application process, including orientation and placement
testing before registering.

New students enrolling only in the 12-week session may be eligible for financial aid.
To apply for financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA) at https://studentaid.gov/. Current students cannot receive additional financial
aid for bi-term classes added to their schedules.
