Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) is pleased to announce the establishment of the Boyd County Farm Bureau Federation Scholarship, made possible through a $6,000 contribution from the Boyd County Farm Bureau Federation.
The scholarship will be awarded beginning in the fall 2026 semester to eligible graduates
of Boyd County High School, Paul G. Blazer High School, and Fairview High School who
are enrolled in a technical program at ACTC. Students who have submitted scholarship
applications for the 2026-2027 academic year will be considered for the award.
“We are pleased to work with the Boyd County Farm Bureau Federation on establishing
this new scholarship opportunity for our students,” said Kim Jones, ACTC advancement
administrator. “This investment will help remove financial barriers for ACTC students.
Partnerships like this demonstrate Boyd County Farm Bureau Federation’s commitment
to supporting both education and the future of our local communities. We are honored
to work together to create new opportunities for student success.”
The scholarship reflects a shared commitment to supporting workforce development and
expanding access to higher education opportunities for students in Boyd County and
the surrounding region.
