The Alpha Omega Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) held their induction ceremony on May 1, welcoming 69 members from the 2025-2026 class.
Seymouria Mitchell, a graduating student of the class of 2026 and one of this year’s
inductees, was featured as the keynote speaker for the ceremony.
"What I’ve learned is success does not come from being perfect,” she said. “It comes
from consistency. It comes from determination. It comes from refusing to give up,
even when life gives you every reason to stop. My purpose in life has always been
to give my children the life they deserve. But even more than that, I want to break
the cycle of the broken generations I grew up in. And change has to start somewhere.”
The induction ceremony was conducted by PTK Kentucky region president, Kyli Springer,
and incoming president, Brittony Bradley.
