Published on Apr 21, 2026

Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) is excited to host the Fueling the Future Car Show and Vendor Event on Saturday, May 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the College Drive Campus.

All proceeds will benefit the Greatest Needs Fund at ACTC, which supports students and programs across campus.

“Fueling the Future Car Show and Vendor Event is more than just an event, it’s a celebration of our community,” said Kim Jones, ACTC advancement administrator. “As our first year hosting this event, we’re excited to bring people onto campus, create a fun and welcoming atmosphere, and raise support for our students. We’re especially proud to partner with the Ignite Appalachia Makers Market to showcase local talent and small businesses.”

She added, “the enthusiasm has been incredible, and we’ve been truly overwhelmed by the support. We love our community and are proud to offer something for everyone to enjoy.”

Participant registration begins at 8 a.m. at the guard shack off Ramey Street.

Entry fees are $15 per vehicle, $25 per makers market space, and $50 per food truck. Food truck participation is limited to four vendors.

Split the Pot tickets are $5 each or five for $20. Participants do not need to be present to win.

Event sponsors include Backyard Roots Nursery, Boyd County Public Library, Citizens Bank of Kentucky, Kentucky Power, Mark Porter Auto Group, and Toyota of Ashland.

In the event of inclement weather, a rain date will be announced on ACTC social media pages.
