ACTC art students to be featured in show case

Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) will once again be hosting a student art show at the Midland Branch of the Boyd County Public Library.  


The opening reception will be held Friday, April 10 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The show will run from April 10 through April 17.  


“This is a wonderful opportunity for students to share their hard work with family, friends, as well as staff and faculty,” said ACTC art professor Wendy Fosterwelsh. “I watch these students grow in each class and their dedication to creating and learning is amazing. I am super proud of these students.”  


This will be the 20th student art show that Fosterwelsh has organized.  


Students in the ACTC art show include (in no particular order): Alivia Bowling, Madison Duncil, Jadyn Odell, Libbi Singleton, Allison Williams, Vegas Gee, Zoe Bass, Ethan Allen, Britney Cassity, Keshea Garvin, Baily Brown, Faith Brown, Simon Beck, Avery Newell, Betty Jackson, Kendra Cox, Ariella Vititoe, and Sarah Baldwin.  


The students featured are students in Fosterwelsh’s Drawing I & II, Painting I & II, and Art 100 classes.
