ASHLAND, Ky. – Ashland Community & Technical College (ACTC) held its spring Technical and Professional Career Fair last Thursday at its Technology Drive Campus.
With 192 students and alumni participating, last week’s event was the largest spring career fair to date.
This event aims to open doors for students looking for prospective job opportunities in the community and showcases a network of local employers eager to find skilled employees.
“Our increased emphasis on Kentucky CPE’s 10 Essential Skills has strengthened student preparation and participation,” said Ashley Vanderpool, Career Services Coordinator. “Students arrived with resumes ready, dressed professionally, and actively engaged with employers. Their communication and professionalism were clearly demonstrated throughout the event. We are fortunate to have strong support from our faculty and leadership, and it clearly shows in the way our students prepare and participate.”
