ACTC Career Services announces new location, spring hours

ASHLAND, Ky. – Ashland Community & Technical College’s Career Services department has relocated its Technology Drive office and announced updated operating hours for both campus locations.

Career Services is now located on the second floor, Suite 201, at the Technology Drive Campus. Individual office and room locations include:

Ashley Vanderpool – Room 201W

Amy Oakley – Room 201U

Luanne Finley – Room 201S

Student Interview Room / Job Testing Room – Room 201H

The Technology Drive Campus Career Services office will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition, the Career Services office located at College Drive, Office Complex 167, will be open Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Our goal is to make career preparation as accessible and stress-free as possible for students and alumni,” said Ashley Vanderpool, Career Services Coordinator. “While many students think of us as a place for resume help, our work goes much further. Students build technical skills in their classrooms and labs, and we help them develop the professional skills employers are looking for—like communication, critical thinking, and workplace readiness—so the transition from the classroom, through the hiring process, and into a career is as smooth as possible.”

Vanderpool added that the new Technology Drive location allows students to continue accessing all Career Services offerings, including private spaces for virtual interviews or online employment assessments, as well as interview attire when needed.
