Spring Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship deadline is Dec. 1
Published on Nov 11, 2025
Students interested in applying for the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship for the spring semester should complete the application before the December 1 deadline.
Applications are processed by the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA)
weekly.
Current students who received the scholarship this fall do not have to apply again
and will be awarded the scholarship for the spring semester as well.
Students who are applying for the first time will need to set up a MyKHEAA account
before accessing the Work Ready application.
The Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship allows students to earn up to sixty credit hours
tuition-free in high-demand career fields including health care, advanced manufacturing,
transportation/logistics, business services/IT, or construction.
Nearly twenty programs at ACTC are Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship eligible.
The scholarship is available to Kentucky residents with a high school diploma or working
on their GED who don’t already have an associate degree or higher.
“The Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship truly opens doors for our students,” said Dr.
Larry Ferguson, ACTC President/CEO. “It provides access to high-demand programs that
prepare them for well-paying, rewarding careers and help meet the workforce needs
of our region.”
Scholarships are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit kheaa.com to apply.
