
12th annual golf scramble at ACTC a success

Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) held its 12th annual golf scramble at Bellefonte Country Club on Sept. 26th.
This event continues to be one of ACTC’s most successful fundraising events for student
scholarships.
“We are deeply grateful to all of our sponsors for their incredible support of our
12th Annual Golf Scramble,” said Kim Minnehan, ACTC advancement administrator. “Their
generosity makes this event such a success year after year. Because of their commitment,
our students are the true winners, benefitting from scholarships that help their educational
and career goals.”
With 24 teams participating in this year’s golf scramble, the event raised a total
of $25,551.46.
The Clark’s Pump-N-Shop team placed first in this year’s event, with Continuing the
Legacy Foundation placing second and River Metals Recycling placing third.
The event was sponsored by AEP, Ashland Area YMCA, Bob & Christy Craycraft Family
Foundation, Boyd County Tourism, Clark’s Pump-N-Shop, Community Trust Bank, Continuing
