ACTC Workforce Solutions Expo slated for June 23

Published on Jun 5, 2025

Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) invites the public to attend its upcoming Workforce Solutions Expo, a free community event designed to connect individuals with high-demand training opportunities, essential support services, and local employers.

The expo, slated for June 23 at ACTC’s Roberts Drive Campus, will feature a range of short-term training programs in areas such as Nurse Aide, Phlebotomy, ECG Technician, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), and Lineworker training.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with community organizations offering support services including financial aid, childcare, and transportation assistance.

“The Workforce Solutions Expo is about more than just training programs. It’s about building a bridge between education, community support, and real job opportunities,” said Robin Harris, Executive Director of Workforce Solutions at ACTC. “We’re bringing together the people, resources, and employers that can help individuals take the next step toward a better future.”

Vendor space is available for community agencies and employers. Space is limited and early RSVP is recommended to reserve a spot.
