
ACTC hosts successful spring 2025 Technical and Professional Career Fair

The spring 2025 Technical and Professional Career Fair at Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) was held on Thursday, March 6, with 176 students attending, making the event a great success.
ACTC extends its appreciation to our Career Services Department, along with staff, faculty, and volunteers for their dedication in organizing the event.
“The spring 2025 Technical & Professional Career Fair was an outstanding success with several first-time employers joining us for this event,” said Ashley Vanderpool, ACTC career services coordinator. “We are so grateful to all who attended. Seeing over 100 students eagerly waiting at the entrance before the doors opened speaks volumes about their enthusiasm and demonstrates how seriously our faculty and ACTC as a whole approach this opportunity.”
ACTC also thanks the 34 employers and 61 representatives who participated, offering valuable networking opportunities for students and alumni.
Participating employers included: ACP Technologies, Boyd CAT, Central Midwest Regional Council of Carpenters, Commercial Bank of Grayson, Danieli Corporation, Danimer Scientific, East Kentucky Power Cooperative, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Huntington Electrical JATC, IBEW 317/ALBAT, Intermountain Electronics, Kentucky Army National Guard, Kentucky Career Center, Kynect – KPCA, Local 248, Manpower, Marathon Petroleum Company, Marshall University, Masterpiece Kitchen, McGinnis, Inc., New River Electrical Corporation, Northeast KY CAA, Northeast Kynect, Ross Real Estate Services, SABIC Plastics, State Electric Supply Company, Steel of West Virginia, Inc., Texas Roadhouse, Toyota WV, UK St. Claire, United States Coast Guard, Valero Renewables, Western and Southern Life, and W. A second career fair focused on Health Sciences and Health Professions will be held on Monday, March 31, from noon to 2 p.m. at ACTC’s College Drive Campus.
