ACTC receives new scholarship endowment for Lawrence County High School graduates
Published on Feb 25, 2025
Ashland Community and Technical College (ACTC) is proud to announce that it has been named a recipient of the newly established Dr. Norman and Sue Edwards Endowment Fund of the Foundation for the Tri-State Community.
This generous endowment will provide $18,000 annually for scholarships to support Lawrence County High School graduates attending ACTC.
The funding is designed to cover full tuition for at least four students each year. However, smaller awards may be distributed to additional students based on their level of unmet financial need. This flexibility ensures that more students can benefit from the scholarship and pursue their educational goals with less of a financial burden.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Dr. Norman and Sue Edwards Endowment Fund and the Foundation for the Tri-State Community for their commitment to local students,” said Kim Minnehan, ACTC advancement administrator. “This scholarship will make a meaningful difference in the lives of Lawrence County graduates by expanding access to quality education and workforce training opportunities at ACTC.”
